At the last meeting the junior group studied horse markings, reviewed colors, and played the horse parts game. Before our final June meeting keep on studying horse colors, markings, and parts. In your project books these are the pages that should be completed: (6,7) (8,9) (10,11) (12,13) (14,15) (20,21). Complete independently one (or more if you wish) of the following: (16,17) (18,19) (22,23) (24,25) (26,27) (28,29) (30,31). I will be checking and initialing your project books as well as signing your completion certificates at the June meeting. You have all been doing a wonderful job!
The junior group is now learning the colors and markings for horses. For those of you who were not able to make it this week, draw and color your dream horse. Also work on pages 14-15 in your project book. Remember to keep on studying those parts of the horse!!! JUNIORS ROCK!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! The junior members started off the new year with a game to show off their knowledge of the parts of a horse. They had fun and learned even more! Keep studying the parts of a horse and remember to look into horse colorings for the next meeting.
The junior members learned how to measure a horse in "hands" by practicing measuring each other! They are now starting to learn all the parts of a horse.
